Fresh Out Of College ?

Are you a fresh graduate stepping out of the college campus and into the world of job?
are you going to enter a whole new world where there won’t be any teachers to help you out but a boss demanding solutions, there won’t be friends accompanying you but competitors who would be eager to surpass you at any moment. Quite haunting isn’t it? But if you want to take the situation under your control then read on.

Be ready to take advice from any person or senior around. They know the office and its environment better than you. Your arrogance or ignorance can cost you a lot. If you haven’t received any placements from your institute then prepare a good resume and forward it to places that suit your qualifications. Make a list of campanies where you would choose to work and the qualifications they consider for selecting candidates. If you don’t get a job always review and edit your resume. If possible ask the interviewer about your weaknesses that made you lose the job. Also attend a lot of seminars and conferences as they may prove useful for gaining good contacts. Never lose your confidence. Contact any counselor if necessary. If necessary try to acquire additional qualifications for your job. Don’t go by the payment of a job. If you work hard and get experience then success and increments are sure to follow.

Many students after stepping out of graduation do opt for post graduation or further studies. If you are interested in any such thing then first consult a counselor and then only choose the specialization according to your interest and qualifications. Taking admission in any field just because there is scope in a particular field may not prove advantageous. In addition to this doing a part time job along with studies may give you a better understanding and application of what you have learnt in your graduation school.
